The Helen haters now finding Helen lovely and Ashleigh a bitch, make me laugh the most - what planet are they on?

Haven't seen the episode tonight but I'm looking forward to it, Chris is my favourite, but I'm finding Ashleigh very entertaining at the moment and I'd love her to make it to the final.

There's always been an obsession with "smugness" on this forum. As soon as a housemate gets in a good position, in this case by doing something clever, they're branded "smug" and their downfall is called for. Shouldn't we really be celebrating Ashleigh for being one of the very few game-players who've actually gone through with their plans and succeeded?

I wonder if the producers are setting her up to be the big villain next week. Ash and even Helen got a sympathetic edit tonight and apparently as part of the new task Helen has seen footage of Ashleigh saying she wanted Ash up for eviciton. I guess they weren't happy that Ashleigh got away with it and just had to interfere...

I think they've already cast her in that part. All the tweets coming out about her are "Ashleigh and Danielle are bitching in a corner" blah blah blah. They've shown nothing of her up until recently and now the spotlight is rarely off her.

Meanwhile, the bully, along with her arrogant cohort are now getting good parts in tasks, having their less flattering characteristics and deeds edited out whilst claiming to be victims of Ashleigh, and bitching in bed at night which, funnily enough, seems to be ignored.

The party line of BOTS is less than flattering on Ashleigh and now all of a sudden, Helen is damaged, we should feel sad for her, she can't help herself etc.

The bile on the main forum is unbelievable and has put me off coming here any more. I just can't understand it. Ashleigh has done nothing wrong, other than have the misfortune to be put into a house with the most unpleasant woman I've ever seen on TV.

I wonder how she's made it this far to be honest and think she deserves a medal for picking herself up and taking on the bully in the only way she can, with her brain.

This series has sickened me more than when BB decided Aaron should be victimised. He was a grown man, Ashleigh is a young girl and yet it seems she's going to BB's next victim, just to take the heat of grown woman who's eaten up with spite and jealousy.

Quite frankly, I'm totally and utterly disgusted.

I say "good luck Ashleigh, be strong, and I hope you reach the final to spite all the people willing to hate, just because you dared to stand up to a bully".

The strange thing is, the "do you like Ashleigh" poll has about 65% voting yes. So it seems that the 35% are just being a lot more vocal at the moment.

I've really cut down the time I spend on here, the undisguised pure hatred has sickened me to the core.

I just hope the viewers will recognise what's happening here, and that Ashleigh gets a fair go, she deserves it.

the ds poll in support of ashleigh is very telling and not surprising

out on the main forum the hate for ashleigh began (imo) with some kim and jale supporters trying to deflect attention away from their faves going over to helen's side and this has been supplemented by closet helen supporters who daren't show themselves before and feel emboldened to create a new 'hate figure' now

whatever the cause though it's actually good news as it shows just how much ashleigh has shaken up the house and put so many peoples's cosy noses out of joint

i just hope when she's inevitably put up for eviction she's up against the likes of steven and marlon and not against chris/christopher/jale

Good point, I think you're right. It did all start around the time Kim and Jale de-camped to the dark side.

I hope Ashleigh lasts a good while yet, she basically says exactly what I'm thinking and the way she says it makes me laugh.

Whenever she's evicted, I think she'll be relieved to go, I don't see her as being desperate to stay until the end, not with some of the HM's who are still in there anyway. If she can manage to see a few off, maybe she'll be more keen to stay - there's no doubt, we'd definitely see a much happier girl.

I know people keep saying she's miserable, but I'd be really miserable in the house with some of those HM's!

Started a thread on DS three weeks ago predicting the rise and overall winner of BB in Ashleigh.....shrewd clever Derry women are hard to get one over on them.


Ashleigh to win and I predict she will get stronger as BB progresses and will become the overall Alpha in the house.

I'm not a huge Ashleigh fan but I came over here to assure you all that almost all of the really nasty negative posts about her are by people who don't care about BB and they probably don't even watch the show. They just like to get a rise by picking some of the more popular/controversial housemates and making stupid negative threads about them and 99% of the BB fans on the forum know them for who they are. It is not at all indicative of her over-all popularity (as illustrated in the polls). Don't let them rattle you.

Length of time on DS means nothing. Trolls have been here since day 1 and they always will be. Granted---maybe tonight is not the best example. But the winners are always the most fiercely contested.

If you are going to support Ashleigh you will need to put on your tin hat and grow a thick skin.

I just never understand why people spend so much time talking about housemates they don't like, if I really dislike a housemate I try to focus on them as little as possible. I do get why Ashleigh isn't to everyone's taste -and she's clearly got her flaws- but some people out there need to calm down a bit

Loving ashliegh she seems to be gaining more support, and positive posts on the main forum. Im hoping bb do a normal power housemate next week, because then it will be ashliegh and then she will be saved for another week.

Calm down. I know you have been around for a long time. If you read my earlier thread I explained that what I consider to be trolls are only those who don't watch or even care about BB but only go around creating negative threads in order to get a rise out of the more popular/controversial housemate fans. My apologies if I offended you.

Think bb know too well who they want to do well this year and obviously want Ashleigh to do badly. The management and producers have turned this bb into an absolute farce and manipulating us to hate Ashleigh, trouble is the clowns in charge are doing a damn good job of it. Think if I was in Ashleigh's shoes I would see it through and not want to run away from problems in there she has. Bet you she's taken the rap as she is a friend of Toya which is sad really.
