Just an observation, it strikes me as strange that the people frantically scibbling posts of hate about Ashleigh, actually take the time to come to her appreciation thread.

They're obviously not new members, so surely they are aware that these threads are for positive posts and not for any negative comments or baiting of her supporters.

I think ashleigh is doing great , she ran rings round Helen . For weeks the forum has been asking when someone is gonna stand up to Helen , well ashleigh has but gets slated for it !

It's the same old dregs - & that's doing a disservice to dregs - that seem to spoil any kind of constructive discussion on any BB housemate. They're rabid in their obsession.

I see it as competition; they see Ashleigh as a threat, and they'll do everything - in their rabid obsession - to eliminate that threat.

There's one particular appreciation thread, where these dregs have a very unhealthy obsession with her.

Emma confirmed there's no Power Housemate this week. A week from today we'll be talking about Ashleigh's eviction. Sorry for being so negative but I can't see any other result at this point.

I'd rather Ashleigh just walked now just to piss off channel 5. She's provided us with so much drama the last week and has been such a great housemate. I honestly thought she would be a boring quiet girl who faded in the background but she's been amazing. It's inevitable that she will be evicted next week and will have to deal with horrible chants from the shitty crowd.

I'm really really sick of people saying "she's as bad as Helen" and shit like that. When has Ashleigh ever intentionally set out to hurt or isolate someone, or been vindictive (yeah the "Steve could do better" comment wasn't nice but she regretted it)? I even see people posting "she bitches about Danielle!" which seems to have so little basis in fact that I don't know how to reply to it.

Ashleigh's by far my fave HM and im so torn between just giving up on the show (she's the only hm i actually like) or watching her last week (inevitably) and seeing how she does. I just don't think i can stand to watch more of BBs obvious favouritism/manipulation and any sexist comments (however subtle) from, well, all of the male housemates bar Mark (in a way) and MAYBE christopher.

The thing is is people that are against her are obviously so deluded theres almost no chance they're going to change their minds on her. They all see what they want to see.

I have really enjoyed watching Ashleigh and don't want her to go next week, but it seems likely that she will Can't believe the crowd's reaction last night either, do they honestly think she is worse than Helen?

At least if she goes on Friday someone might show her she's top or second on all the favourite housemate polls...that would be something I suppose.
