It is good that only one of Helen's Group is up. Maybe it would have been better if it had been Ash, but he's survived the last three weeks so people might have been ready to give up voting for him.

The Mattew eviction on Friday really got me down and made me think it was hopeless for Ashleigh, but unlike Matthew she does have a pretty big fanbase (even on Facebook) and we have one clear target in Marlon to evict. So we just have to vote Marlon and encourage others to do the same.

I'm still going to tell myself she'll be evicted so that it doesn't come as too much of a disappointment on Friday if she is...

If we learned anything from last week it was there is no such thing as a "sure thing." But, yes, at least we have a clear target and that is huge.

No, don't give up on the forum. Despite all the anti-Ashleigh stuff, she's still top of the favourite HM poll here, and good HMs almost always get some disliking them too. Besides, there are a lot of good forum members defending Ashliegh, even it if seems an endless uphill struggle at times.

Yes, though some are finding ways to use them against her.

Exactly. One thing that I believe can be harmful on the main forum are those incredibly pessimistic threads when as soon as the phonelines open say that a housemate has no chance, and make generally depressing reading.
As has been shown many times before a wave of positive momentum does make all the difference.
The last two weeks have shown that at the very least Ash was in the bottom two. If people gave up as soon as the phonelines opened he would have been saved easily.

If Ash can be put into the bottom two then I would have thought that it should be much easier to get Marlon evicted.
I'm not saying it will be easy and it's okay to be complacent, just that it will be easier than trying to get Ash out. Which seemed to be a close call in itself.

It makes you wonder about those posters who say that Ashleigh is bitchy and miserable ALL the time. In what little we do get to see in the edited HL show, I could well imagine that they just don't bother showing her in a good mood as often as they use clips where she isn't happy. As seen in the clip posted in this thread she does have a very cheerful upbeat side to her.

You're right. Her odds at the bookies hardly budged much even after a lot of vocal dislike of her on the forum. She's still the second favourite female after Jale.
Ashleigh does have a fanbase and that's what makes a lot of difference.

She does have people on the forum who dislike her, and the eviction crowd worry me a bit because they may sway opinions on eviction night, but lets hope that's just a vocal minority.

The only reason I have been watching BB is due to Ashleigh taking a stand against the 'cool gang'. It was great to see her stand up to the person that everyone else tip-toes around and come out on top. The viewers all wanted someone to stand up to that vile bully Helen, yet when Ashleigh does what they want.... they throw it back in her face and boo her. To add insult to injury they save Ash over Matthew to give the 'cool gang' power in numbers.

I was actually stunned on Friday when i heard them chanting to get Ashleigh out, that was the moment I lost all hope in the British public/Big Brother fans.

I will be voting to evict Marlon as he seems like the obvious choice to go as he is a sexist pig and brings nothing to the show.

If Ashleigh goes - Helen will see this as a victory for her and the 'cool gang' and the show will become more unbearable to watch than it already is as her and her gang of oafs pick off all of the other nice housemates... Chris, Christopher, Danielle.

If this happens I will never watch this show again.

I voted to evict Ash last week and he didn't go but I will not give up and will be voting for Marlon this week. I just won't be buying a new dress too soon

I haven't approved of everything Ashleigh has done since I first joined this thread but I still like her and I will definitely be voting to evict Marlon this week
