I think Sharon's story has been held back a little with spoilers, I think there's plenty of twists and turns to come with it, and now I think we'll see a new side to Sharon once again in the aftermath of the attack...and also the Phil / Shirley outcome and Sharon's mix into it will be a big part of the show in the coming months I predict, and it's well overdue that Walford's original princess....got some story, and I think the attack is just the beginning!

I hope so. She needs to get her steel back.

Sharon will appear prominently for two/ three weeks tops, then will fade into insignificance for months, until she gets another three week storyline.

Mark my words!!! But I hope I'm proven wrong though. I love Sharon.

If Letitia is still there when the next producer comes along (which I doubt) I hope he or she is wise enough to get Sharon away from the repulsive Phil and Shirley dynamic and bring in Sharon's birth family. I wouldn't say no to a return for Chrissie either.

Don't get too excited. It might be the 5469th false start since she returned.

We've had several "new starts" for her and none of them have gone anywhere thus far.

Although it would be nice I'm more inclined to think Aaron1995 is more on point I'm afraid.

Don't get me wrong Sharon has slightly improved is far more bearable then last year but she just not up to scratch atm, this thing with her being totally engrossed by running the Albert and having Johnny calling her every 5 minutes which is making her neglect her relationship, she run a pub and club and never seem to have half the hassle,

she lives 2 seconds from the premises, it just isn't believable the big deal being made about it, she also seem too have only one barman running the place.

Her relationship with Philth isn't everyone cup of tea it did give her back a family unit which she was so desperately lacking, it's just the so promised storylines don't seen to be applied.

The attempt at making her seem busy is ridiculous.

Oh, a delivery has arrived just as Denny is due to leave for school.

Ooh, somebody needs to book the place as a venue, Sharon must go immediately. Johnny isn't capable or it can't wait until the next day for Sharon to ring them back or whatever.

Just pish.

It is ridiculous looking at it, Johnny can't wipe his bumhole without Sharon's assistance his lived in a pub his whole life and is training to be a lawyer but his incapable of taking a booking...laughable really

It's all for phil to be put off by Sharon DTC is really wanting to push phil towards Shirley that's what all this is. How many of similar scenes in the past number of weeks has Sharon had to run off and phil looking extremly pissed off but he hasn't said anything. I was actually waiting for a scene tonight of Shirley popping up when phil was on his own him putting out the rubbish or something lol. Phil looking happy to see her or something. I think he's really starting to miss Shirley and realising he's made a big mistake getting with Sharon.

Oh I know why they're doing it.

I just can't believe they're being so desperate and transparent with it.

Not being written convincingly at all. But then the entire charade hasn't been from the start.

May I add going by the upcoming spoilers no mention of Sharon's life long friends dot or Ian going to visit Sharon when she's in hospital Ian seems happy enough next week to baby sit lexi and on the 20th he and Denise stay at home playing board games going by the spoilers if there is no scenes of either Ian or dot visiting Sharon or even mentioning Sharon next week then DTC is no more discusting than Lorraine Newman.Heck I'll even be annoyed if her new friend Linda doesn't even pay a visit to the hospital to see Sharon

As a character, she is certainly getting back on form. Her overpowering protection of her son has been banished and the old steely, hearty Sharon is making her way back. I hope that the aftermath of the attack is strong for Sharon though. Perhaps a pain killer relapse?

It sounds to me from the spoilers Sharon is going to fade into her shell and lose her confidence so perhaps the addiction storyline will come back in full force.

What if she hits the even harder drugs?.....Great news because it actually gives Letitia something to do. No wonder she sounded so pleased in the interview she gave.

I think we are set for a big storyline. This is why I hope Phil doesn't cheat on her now. With Sharon in that position it would be totally disgusting of him.

If she becomes agoraphobic it would be a great opportunity to humble her and bring her back down to earth. Even though she's become nicer lately I still think she's too flighty and highly strung. It's like the writers can't completely let go of the Tanya infused version of Sharon they created in 2012. Why do the characters in EastEnders have to be so one dimensional these days? Ugh!

And then she gets onto morphine, starts having drug induced hallucinations of Den, Ange n Dennis, looks around her, screams WTF happened to me? and stabs Phil with a syringe. Phil staggers off, Shirley licks his wounds - literally.

Sharon remembers that she inherited the bookies and rises like a Phoenix.

Or more likely, Sharon wakes up, sees Phil n Shirl at it in the hospital disabled toilet, thinks about it for ten minutes, then decides to creosote the garden fence.

I want Sharon away from Phil now.

If he wants bedraggled old doormat Shirely back, let him have her. He'll be cheating on her within weeks again.

I want to see a strong Sharon take the bar from Phil and not be reliant on a man. There is a dreadful tendency with EE to show women desperate to hang onto cheating, lying scumbags. I don;t want to see Sharon going down the Tanya route and taking Phil back after he leaves her seriously ill in hospital to shag pruneface.

I was thinking agoraphobia too. That's how the story reads to me. If that's the case then Sharon must be getting one of the main summer storylines.

I think maybe if that's the intention the story is genius as it should make viewers feel for Sharon again. I think people have forgot who Sharon is because her attitude has been too highly strung for the best part of two years. This is a great way of bringing her back to reality while also gaining viewer sympathy.

I don't get why everyone's getting there hopes up about this Sharon story it will probably be crap like every story Sharon's had since 2012.Going by the spoilers next week all sound pretty meh sounds like Ian,dot,Linda, Sharon doesn't get so much a visit from those she's closest to.

We don't know yet as it hasn't been referenced onscreen yet. I think DTC will redeem Sharon

I really want to see Phil and Shirley reunited and i'm saying this as a Sharon fan. So far Sharon's return has been a disaster her characterization has been appalling and getting her back together with Phil has been one of the biggest problems. Phil is far better suited to Shirley him and Sharon just isn't the same as it was 20 years ago. Come on DTC split up Phil and Sharon get him back with Shirley and let us see the old Sharon come back the one last seen in 2006.

I'm a big Sharon fan but I also want her away from Phil. It just doesn't work anymore. I don't believe Sharon could be in love with the Phil of today. He and Shirley are far better suited as they're both bullies and treat people like trash. The only thing I'd like is for Sharon to end it with Phil rather than this ridiculousness of Phil being in love with Shirley and choosing her over Sharon. At first I thought it spit in the face of Sharongate and all the years of Phil pining after Sharon but when I thought about it Phil has changed a lot since Sharon and Grant left in 2006 and isn't the same person anymore. I do think being with Sharon makes him a bit nicer but that's only because Sharon tells him off for his bad behaviour while Shirley encourages it and gets a thrill out of it.

I'm no Shirley fan and I think putting her back with Phil is a mistake but rather her than Sharon

Sharon lost me forever with her pitiful reaction to King Philth's role in poor Dennis's death.

I know we are supposed to believe Philth is the world's sexiest man but f*****g hell.

She should never have been within 10 miles of him.
