Hi folks hope someone can help. Can anybody recommend a decent smart TV dongle/smart TV box that has web browser with built in flash player. I watch a lot of streaming stuff and sick of connecting laptop to TV lol

Best options in no paticular order would be Roku 3, Chromecast, apple TV. Am sure Amazon have a new thing out now too.

chromecast via chrome browser will do this. There is normally a slight time lag between laptop and TV but if your laptop is reasonably powerful (i.e. not a very cheap or old one), it should play without any stuttering, and audio is in sync normally on TV with video.

Chrome browser has flash built in, but some users say they need to install a flash plugin which overides built in one.

Can also cast from an android via chromecast but limited to HTML5 videos (not older flash)

Well I was looking at the quad core android 4.2 smart TV box on eBay it says it supports adobe flash player 11 but I dunno if that's in browser flash player

From kitkat onwards, flash cannot be easily installed. You can use flashfox browser that has built in flash though.

So any android smart TV box over 4.2 will be hard to update ? And if I use flash fox browser that will allow to view websites that load content by flash player 10/11?

I've just bought a chromecast. For £30 I'm very impressed.

Limited number of apps, and haven't tried the chrome browser extension yet, but very good so far.
