its not by framestone who did the mclaren f1 tooned ones its Wieden & Kennedy Portland, whoever they are, but look and feel very similar.

People are shocked at the standard of opening ceremony, the Olympics actually put effort and a lot more money I'd imagine into it, it's not as important for the World Cup, not an excuse though it was rubbish.

I remember the South African one, that (Whilst not up to Olympics standard) was alot better than Brazilians effort, who can forget the giant Dung Beetle!

But yeah, Brazil's was awful.
