Holland have often taken teams apart, then imploded. If they manage to keep it together they could go far.

Bloody hell!

Still, Spain did lose their first game four years ago.
Yes, but not this badly!

What a disaster for Spain! The Netherlands have really lit up the World Cup. Great game!

From memory though it was only 1-0.

In the last 2 games Spain have played in Brazil they have lost by an aggregate score (so far) of 7-1!

Casillas is hugely overrated - he's had a brilliant team in front of him for years, both club and country.

However, I'd gladly swap place with him on his return home to be consoled by his wife

Yes they have a habit of starting a squabble amongst themselves - then completely cocking up... their version of our "penalty shoot out" Achilles heel.

If players are getting mouthy with the ref, he should be allowed to use the spray on them.

As discussed on the first couple of pages of this thread, Lopez isn't even in the Spanish squad. Not that Casillas is fully to blame for this seemingly imminent defeat.

He should do, not saying you should drop a goalkeeper for one bad mistake especially a legend like Casillas but De Gea has been a revelation for United for the last 2 years he deserves his chance.

He was close to taking Van Persie out for the last goal so he almost dropped himself.

Yeah, he's reluctant to really have a dig.

No hat trick for Van Man, but he's helped to take Spain apart.
