Torres couldn't score in a dutch brothel.

Looking forward to the Chile game even more now.

As I have 2 of their players in my fantasy team alongside 2 Dutch players.

They are missing Puyol so much. Pique's been one of the most overrated CBs in a long-time; and it's ironic that the one match Ramos doesn't get yellow, he's terrible - it's strange because he's just had by far his best season for RM this year. And Costa; well, Chelsea must be hoping this game is a blip for him after paying 32m for him. Torres - well that miss sums him up. Hasn't looked good since the 2010 WC, really. The phase 'form is temporary - class is permanent' is very much applicable to him. Spain may not even get out this group, and that would be shocking.

The trouble for spain is even if they win their last 2, they probably get Brazil in the next round, who stuffed them 4-0 last year.

Surely even England will do better than that...

One of the great giant-slayings in World Cup history. Not the most unexpected win ever, but one of the most unexpected results ever with 5 goals conceded by Spain. Astonishing, what a classic.

What a match. Reminiscent of Bayern Munich killing Barcelona last year.

Fantastic game, game's like that are what the World Cup is about, best game i have watched in a while. I can't believe the Spanish have lost 5-1. The Dutch were superb and Van Persie and Robben were on fire, sensational.

Wow!

What a classic! The complete deconstruction of the World Champions. And their misery isn't over yet:

"Chile is Coming."

You did wonder if the years were beginning to catch up with a number of the Spanish players - particularly in defence and goal - and I guess tonight's result proves it.

Have to say that as somebody who's loathed the Spanish domination of international football over the last six years, I enjoyed every moment of that humiliation.

Spain are now faced with the stark reality of finishing bottom of their group, never mind failing to get through it and all eyes will now turn to how good Chile are in their next match.

Delighted with that, well done Netherlands.

Robben, Van Persie, Vlaar and Blind were absolutely brilliant.
