Obviously been sampling some of that country's most famous export before the match. And I don't mean coffee.

There's gonna be riots in Mexico City if Cameroon win this one.

Until we can replace the human ref with technology there will be decisions made that are totally wrong. But it wouldn't be like fifa to have any influence in these matters, would it?
The odd mistake is understandable but four potential game-changers within a match and a half is not acceptable. I'm not sold on computer referees though.

mexico should be at LEAST two goals up by now!

cameroon player on the near side in the replay kept him onside, and it did come off the cameroon defender's head ..... should have had a headed goal too!

screw goal line technology, that comes about very infrequently ..... GIVE US VIDEO REPLAYS DAMMIT FIFA!!!

I'm urging Mexico to score here so we can get a fair result.

Yeah, as much as I think the refereeing has been bad so far, I would baulk at using these instances to justify the sterility and delays that technology would bring. I mean, what would we have to talk about if all decisions were perfect?

Will any African sides get through the group stages don't think they will
Making up the numbers. FIFA should go back to 16 teams only.

More importantly, who would the players have to shout and curse at?

I'm not sold on the idea of computer referees either. But, I do believe that the latest in technology should be used to help assist the referees make the correct decisions.

There have actually been calls to increase the WC to 40 teams.

Nonsense. It's hardly a World Cup if it's just contested between Europe and Brazil/Argentina. How else will these national sides improve other than through tournament football? The gulf is narrowing compared what it used to be.

And Ivory Coast should get through their group.

It's not even that really, having officials in a box with lots of monitors and watch the replays and giving a decision, similar to F1 with a stewards decision.

I hope England don't meet Mexico - they will struggle to get a touch of the ball .

Well that was the worst 45 minutes refereeing performance I have ever seen.

Put a laptop at the side of the pitch. It'll all work out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rSXhvhmfNZ4
