We have a winner, a deserved one at that.

Cameroon were disappointing, did they use up valuable preparation arguing about win bonuses?

I hope this group doesn't come down to goal difference.

Did the commentator on ITV earlier say that Mexico have never qualified from the group stage in a World Cup which they haven't been the host?

Yep, a deserved win for the Mexicans. Should make their final game against Croatia a corker now.

Right result, after those stupid referring decisions, Mexico- Croatia should decide 2nd in this group now

They played USA in the second round in 2002.

Plus they played Argentina second round in 2006, lost 2-1 in Leipzig.

Oh I thought the Mexico coach looked familiar.

They have never progressed pas the second round outside of their home country.

They virtually always get through the group stage

Just seen both of Mexico's disallowed goals on the ITV post-match and to say they're preposterous is an understatement.

The two Mexican forwards weren't even as bad as level for the first and what on earth did the linesman think Giovani was guilty of for the second?

Thank goodness Mexico won the match.

2nd goal was also disallowed for offside.
Of course, the ball came off the defender's head before reaching Giovanni so it was never offside

Let's hope it doesn't come down to goal diff and Mexico lose out.

I reckon they'll be going out in the groups here. Croatia will have far more quality in midfield and will have far more possession than Cameroon.
