I bought it on the PSN store, but I bought a £50 top up card for £43 from cdkeys. As I said, always best to look around for deals first.

Me too. Wanted it digitally but was never going to pay the full £50, there are always deals to be had on PS3 credit.
I wouldn't pay £50 even if it's a game I really want, there's usually a deal around but if there is not then I'll wait. |

How do you charge your shield?
Getting shot up by hostile sentinals, my shield gets depleted and I cant seem to find the setting in suit or multi tool to recharge my shields. So I keep dying. What am I missing? |

Exosuit hazard protection is recharged with zinc, titanium and shielding shards. Zinc can be harvested from flora on planets. Titanium can be got from destroyed sentinels and other places. The shards are loot from various sources. Exosuit life support is recharged with the red isotope elements: plutonium (found abundantly on planets, in caves) carbon (destroy plant life for carbon) and thamium9 which can be harvested from flora or from asteroids in space. Ship deflector shields are recharged with the yellow oxide elements: zinc, titanium etc. |

After a long slog, I have reached the centre of the galaxy. if I was a rich man, I would have thrown my PS4 out the window.

Been playing it since Friday last week and I love it, as an older gamer (63) I am finding it quite different from my usual shootem ups, loving the exploration and the trading up side of it, I can see it keeping me interested for quite some time,
I have only one question really and I hope someone can answer, don't know if it's been asked and answered already (and I am not going to trawl through 14 pages to find out) It's about the menu screen I see the options to use or transfer an item from suit to ship or vice versa but it's the "move and stack" one that has me stumped anyone know what this does and how it does it? cheers. |

Using "Move", you can simply move items in your inventory from one free slot to another. For example, you may want Carbon or Zinc in a specific place in your inventory. The "Stack" part is mostly not required as the game automatically stacks items of the same type together, until the stack size is full (250 for exosuit and 500 for ship). But lets say you have two stacks of Carbon (that are not at their max stack size), you could select one stack and drop it on top of the other stack to create just one stack.
thanks again, guess I need more slots hehe. |

Ah right, I get it now so you can't just keep stacking say carbon, in just one place, once it reaches 500 it's full,
thanks again, guess I need more slots hehe. I must have spent the few hours searching for increased slots for my exosuit.

I've had evenings where it's just one barren planet after another. Then there's other evenings where every planet is very different. I came across a planet with big forests of fungi tonight. Lots of varieties of them as well. I think I must have scanned 8 varieties of just those fungi. That planet also had these massive floating squares of rock, which looked like granite potato waffles. Oh, and there was orange grass too. The animals were pretty dull in comparison, mostly rat-like things, though there was also a flying rat species, so that was interesting.
I have still not upgraded my drive yet, so not been to anything other than class G... Yellow Stars/Class G or F These are the default star systems you can travel to from the start of the game. Mostly basic resources can be be found on the planets present within them, and a lot of the planets are barren. Red Stars/Class K or M You need a warp reactor sigma upgrade to travel to these stars. Planets will have slightly rarer resources on them, and more planets will be habited with fauna and flora. Green Stars/Class E You need warp reactor tau upgrade to have the ability to travel to these systems. They contain even rarer resources and even more planets will be tropical/lush. Blue Stars/Class B or O You need a warp reactor theta upgrade to travel to these systems. Planets will have a chance of having even the rarest resources on them, and a higher chance of being lush with plentiful plant and animal life. |

In fact I am going to tell you what happens (in spoiler tags, of course) so you can judge for yourself if it's worth it:
Spoiler
Yes, that is really what happens. |

For a game the size of everything ever it hasn't taken long for people to complete multiple times.
