The Appetizer:
Colombia V Greece (5pm), BBC 1

The Starter:
Uruguay V Costa Rica (8pm), ITV

The Main Course:

England V Italy (11pm), BBC 1

The Dessert:
Ivory Coast V Japan (Sunday, 2am), ITV

I don't think I've watched 4 live games within 24 hours before, but I gonna give it a go.

You haven't told us where we can see these games EXCLUSIVELY LIVE. I'm going to struggle to watch them without this crucial information .

Good point, I've updated my post.

Yeah, that won't be ending until around 4am. ....I think England vs Italy was originally scheduled for that 2am slot until European broadcasters complained.

Is that because it kicks off at 2am? Or because it's Japan vs. Ivory Coast?

Its going to be a great night tomorrow, will watch all of them.
Have a mega lasagne to cook planned for tomorrow night, will have it as a few meals over the night to keep up the stamina

But, what to do with the hour or so between the matches.
For me I like Le Mans 24hr, so will be catching up with that in the hours between each match.

At first I thought its a 'meh' game, but the way I see it, this is probably Didier Drogba's last World Cup. Its an African team and I've always been impressed with the energy shown by Japan.

I'm actually expecting those 2 teams to put on a decent game. Hopefully I'll still be awake enough to watch most if not all of it.

I thought England v Italy was originally scheduled for 2am. I remember hearing it at the time and thinking that is going to cause chaos with pubs etc. I notice this is the only 2am match of the whole tournament. Why did they just have this one late match only?

Probably because Japan is 8 hours ahead so it'll be a 10am kick off there, good time for them. The England v Italy game is on at 6am here, that is proper hardcore.

The anticipation for the England match has been slowly building in my city centre today, which is nice to see.

Not just a feast of football. There's loads of sport on today including several rugby internationals, the Test cricket at Lords, tennis at Queens and the US Open.

It's not often you get England playing football, rugby and cricket on the same day. It's just as well that none of the matches clash.

Well, that was fun.

Have to say it was easier to get from the beginning to the end than I thought it would be, which could have had something to do with the fact that all four matches were free-flowing and entertaining.

Then again, it could have had something to do with the fact that I had a catnap before the first match, drank copious amounts of Coca-Cola throughout and broke things up by watching the second match at a friend's house.

I've eaten too much and I've drunk too much.

Do wish we had some more 2am games though.

Is that......light outside?

I was struggling to keep awake during half time of Ivory Coast vs Japan, but it was worth it. Like Alrightmate I'm footballed out.....but hey, we only have the 3 games later on.

Hopefully I'll be able to wake up for a respectable time later for Fathers Day Dinner.
