He can be annoying, but I really don't think he's that bad. Just because I cringe every now and again doesn't mean I think he's terrible most of the rest of the time. It's not like the presentation turns into a complete joke. Ben Shephard is the one who is the definition of "worst football presenter"

oh come on, when lightning stopped played in the England v Honduras friendly.

Chiles had to ad-lib his way through it. It was the most cringe-worthy thing i've seen on tv, so far this year.

I'd rather have the sound of a pneumatic drill blasted at me, at full volume, than go through that again

Poor Adrian. He always gets grief. He used to be on Daybreak with Christine whatsherface. Whatever happened to that show? It was loved by millions.

It's his lack of slickness and the sense that he might as well just be some bloke plucked off the street and plonked in the presenter's chair that is actually quite endearing in a way.
