14 goals in just 3.5 games so far.

Didn't it take about a week to get 14 goals in south africa

LOL @ Australia suddenly thinking they're a good team who have a chance.

Well I suppose Cahill always was great in the air and the Chile defenders are about 5 foot 5.

Didnt really see it coming but we might have a contest on our hands here!

Wait till England Italy take to the field tomorrow and bring the average down.

Less 3.5 games in and only 1 of the 8 teams has kept a clean sheet so far.

That's because nobody could shoot the ball on target. The ball looks decent this year.

The 14th goal arrived in game 9. I appreciate it was a rhetorical question.

I think every team which has played so far has scored (apart from Cameroon).

Goals Goals Goals. This is what we want.

Yeah and that was after the Germans had put 4 goals past the Aussies.

Looking ahead think this group could have Netherlands 7 pts, Chile 5, Spain 4 at the end of it

Chile started great, but Australia have come right back at them, makes for a good 2nd half

I have to say that even though Australia went 2-0 down quickly, their running and passing game looked pretty decent. Chile's defence is way inferior to their attack so wasn't surprised when the Socceroos got back in it.

Been an enjoyable game so far. I think the Aussie's will cool off and Chile will just unleash a barrage of goals in the second half.

It looked like a thrashing after 15 mins, worse than Spain's disaster, but somehow the aussies are still in it- great for us watching. Hoping they score early in 2nd half.

Ian Wright talking absolute nonsense as per normal - did he have his half time notes written down before Australia pulled a goal back and started to come into the game and couldn't be arsed changing them??

Chile have gone from cruising to being rattled in the space of 15 second half minutes - next goal is crucial ...
