Samsung repair query

I wonder if there's anyone that can help.

I sent my S3 back to Samsung on Wednesday (after ages of trying to log it!)

I got a text Thursday morning to say that it's been received by the repair centre in Coventry. I then got a text from DPD to say that they had a parcel for me from Samsung, the parcel was in Leicester and would be delivered today. I had to change delivery as I would be at work today and am getting it delivered on my next day off.

Would this be my phone? It would have been with them for less than 12 hours from the texts I got, that's no time surely to diagnose the fault? As it's under warranty do they even bother repairing and just send out a (refurb) new phone?
There's no info at all about the parcel, Samsung's tracking site is useless, all it says is "delivery in progress" when I can actually get it to bring up the repair details!
