John Barrowman has been awarded an MBE in the Queens Birthday Honours.

Congratulations to him.

Well done to him!! He's a great actor, both in DW and TW, plus he's quite a good singer too!

I listen to them a lot. The first one, contains mostly songs from musicals that John recorded in the 90s and early noughties, including Grease, Joseph and so on.

The second CD contains more pop/rock songs from his three albums recorded between 2007 and 2010. That includes a version of Your Song, plus a cover of The Winner Takes It All and others.

I've also got his two autobiographies and the audiobook of the first one. Also all the TW DVDs, a live in Scotland DVD, and four Jack Harkness action figures.

So, as you can see, I am a bit of a fan of John's.

Just wondering, do you use your mobile to post every comment on here, or do you usually use your PC?

I've tried using my mobile to use Digital Spy, and it is difficult. So I use my computer.

I know it's not "Who" releated, but I've been watching Spooks on DVD recently, and have just got up to Keeley Hawes final episode, in series 3. So sad! Loved her in that!

I've only got the first 5 series on DVD so far, and I hope to get more soon. When I can afford it. I'm unemployed, and have been for a while, so it's not easy trying to get the stuff you want.

I'm usually on my laptop or PC when I post on here. It is awkward on the phone.

I like Spooks, and have met Keeley Hawes, she's lovely, looking forward to seeing her in Doctor Who.

The only famous people I've met are Peter Smith (The Big Breakfast), and June Whitfield (Ab Fab). They were on the panel of What's My Line? in 1995, presented by Emma Forbes. My Mother went on the show, and I was in the audience.

The two celebrities walked past me in the corridor afterwards. Peter shook my hand, and said "Hello."



Edit - Oh, and I've met Jackie Ballard, former Liberal Democrat MP.

Some nights, when I go to bed, I take my mobile upstairs to my bedroom and use the internet on there, until I feel tired enough to want to sleep.

I have got loads of pictures of my favourite celebs, stored on the phone.

There is quite a bit of Doctor Who on my phone, too. I've got all of the TV themes, plus message alert sounds, including Daleks, Cybermen and sound bites of the Doctors talking.

Well done to John though. He is fantastic, shame we can't see him in DW more but I;m content with him in Arrow. More Barrowman the better.

Good on him. Seems like a nice chap. His wife and kids will be thrilled. (If they ever got home after he put Peter, Colin, Sylvester and his career first. )

Congratulations to him!! Hope we get him back as Jack Harkness sometime in the next couple of years.

Huge congrats to Barrowman and lovely Julie Gardner. I was just about to get outraged at RTD being overlooked then I realised he received one (an OBE) ages ago!
