Slight last minute change to the opening Hunted clue due to the normal radio car getting a flat tyre on the Hagley Road in Bearwood.

One car swap later & they're now on their way to West Btomwich.

in related news,
bbc coventry and Warwickshires managing editor is now the editor of bbcwm.
this should be interesting.

Thanks very much I was trying to find out who it was! I think she must think Pete Morgan is good as he has been covering shows on BBC CW.

I don't like the new BBC WM tag line of "your voice in the West Midlands" I am not a fan of radio stations who keep using the word "your.", it's not mine!

The only problem I have with the new jingles is they only have a 10 second jingle at the start of the hour rather than having about 1 or 2 mins where the presenter you say what is on the show.

it does not say what if any changes she will make when she takes over the ranes.
unless, she has...
may we live in interesting times

Not keen on the new jingles. Many of them are from the first package from Mcasso they used. I do like the voiceovers, less annoying than the ones before. Mark Forrest's won't change as its the same across the country.

I still don't get why the schedule is the way it is, 8 weekday show (5am - 10pm) is ridiculous. It could and probably should be 3 less than that. How long will Goldie last this time?

Edit: I notice the voiceovers are more aimed at the listner, 'your travel news' and 'your voice'. I know the female voice is Allison Hammond, who is the male?

Bring him back for gods sake.

Even Carl Chinn would be more interesting than the lot they allow on air these days.

After a while of listening to Boyden some years ago I got fed up of him but he is an absolute master compared to the bland and turgid tripe of an excuse for presenters they have there now.

Its bad enough having to put up with Mark Forest in the evenings but that Sunny and Shay show for instance, I have never anything so cringeworthy or dire in my entire life and the Caroline Martin programme, who is that aimed at ? An audience living in Chelmsley Wood ? Danny Kelly , could anyone sound more sanctimonious ? Instead of having a late night local Midlands magazine type show, what do we get ? Blinkin' Graham Torrington playing totally bland lovey dovey music every night and sounding as if he thinks he's Doctor Love !

WM is doing my head in.

You mean yesterday?
Just listened back it could be because it was Stuart Ellis sitting in. I don't listen to the terrible "late night GT" anymore (Duncan Barkes on LBC is a good listen) and haven't for about 2 and a half years but do time to time and I think by the end of the year it will be 3 hours of love songs with about 12 each hour!

For Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday:
07:00 Danny Kelly
09:00 Caroline Martin
12:00 Mollie Green

An odd decision to have Danny Kelly on breakfast.

Goldberg said he was "doing other work". So I looked on his twitter account and he says I is on 5 Live at 10:30pm - 1am.

I guess with it being a busy week in Sport they didn't want to use a member of the sports team but couldn't they have Pete Morgan in for him with Michelle Dawes or Mollie Green in for Pete?

The budget is out on Wednesday, I wonder how Mollie will deal with that?

I used to take the mick on the text because she used to mention the prices of stuff by saying 'That's x amount of cat food tins'!

What's the point of having Goldie back if a week into his new role he's off doing other things?

WM's a bit of a mess at the moment and its a shame because over the last few years it was sounding a lot better.

She left about 2 - 3 years ago; I don't know what she does now.

Spoke to her on air once when she & Simon Lederman were covering the original regional Tony & Julie Late Show plus actually met her in the flesh at a Wm show in West Bromwich!

Cayte has dropped out of broadcasting altogether. She lives, I think, in Cornwall doing craft stuff, such as weaving or something of that ilk.

Hope someone at BBC Brum has got her number as we could do with her for the birthday shows in the future!

(Must admit you could see her doing the arts & crafts, along with a joss stick & listening to her New Age music!)

Apparantly it's Malin's birthday today, according to Facebook!
