Dear me - awful from Johnson now.

We've shot our bolt.

He took a knee to the back of his. Looked painful.

I expect Sturridge and Stirling to be reduced by the opposition quite early in the next games

"there's nobody there" - our greatest weakness.

Rooney gets England's only assist, it becomes 'it's only an assist' 100% corner completion is way more important.

Do you think Rooney and Johnson are having a competition on who can be the shittiest footballer In a England shirt

Glen Johnson should visit an optician.

I think that's it. Will have settle for a defeat first game and need to win now against Uruguay. Not impressed with Gerrard at all, and Rooney what a waste a space - performing exactly like the last 2 world cups, useless. Only promising thing is the attack is superb, Sturridge and Stirling have been excellent. Defence is wobbly.

Must be hot for Neville being wedged so far up Rooneys ass

Stupid media obsession over Pirlo.

What has he done exactly? Should have focused their attention on the other midfielders.

I suppose he would be good for getting on the end of all the crosses we're putting into the box but I don't think he would offer us much else.

Serious? Dummied for the 1st goal and involved in Italy's 2nd.

I've hardly seen him. He's done nothing other than put in a few short meaningless passes.

Poorer crossing than a Tower Hamlets polling card.

I think they've got the foam from Collina.

Been sitting in his garage for years and he only just came across it again so he's given it to his friends.

Funny thing is when Kenny took over at Liverpool he put Glen on the left and he was much better.

You seem to think that it is a given we could beat Costa Rica. You know, the team who gave Uruguay a seeing to earlier.
