Hart - dodgy
Johnson - at fault for second goal
Cahill - wasn't helped with second goal
Jagielka - decent
Baines - missing too many times
Gerrard - I thought it was Lampard's fault that he couldn't do it for England?
Henderson - non-existent
Sterling - Excellent
Rooney - Made the goal and did nothing else
Welbeck - Decent game
Sturridge - Shame he had to go off; looked promising before that
Barkley - Had bright spells
Wilshere - As non-existent as Henderson
Lallana - Didn't do much

Even though we lost I enjoyed our performance strangely enough.

Italy deserved their win, but we had our chances and didn't play too badly.

Well I won my bet...

England did show some spark but they need to do some work to survive.

A much better game than I thought it was going to be.

Beaten, probably going out but hugely encouraged by that game. Well done Roy and well done England.

Lallana, Wilshire and Barkley did nothing once on the pitch, let's start them next time huh?

Got to be better than that Rooney? According to many here.

Agreed.

Rooney, Johnson and Baines were very poor indeed.

In a points system we would have got more for the all out defence draw in Euro 2012 than the 'push forward and forget defending' approach tonight.

It's more clueless bile than criticism.
