I was gutted we lost but not frustrated like i am normally when england play. I quite enjoyed it. It was the left hand side like the commentators said in the studio that let us down really. I hope roy changes that around the next game

Some positives for England but the big worry for me is that the balance of the team just doesn't look right. No point having a go at individual players (e.g. Rooney) when they're being asked to play out of position.

The positives that our young players look promising - in particular, Sterling performed excellently, MOM. Welbeck also had a decent game, and Sturridge got his goal. Rooney has not answered his critics; and his performance tonight, overall was particularly disappointing. Gerrard, for his part was also disappointing - and all Wilshere seemed to do is fall on the floor.

The second half was notable for us being quite poor in the final third; we were the masters of 'nearly.' Baines' performance tonight proves why we should have taken Cole - Jagielka had a okay night, but Glen Johnson is dire. It's tragic that he's our first-choice right-back. Why on earth he kept on shooting from distance at goal is beyond me.
