Uruguay are a bloddy shambles. Get rid of that 4-4-2 system. There is a reason why hardly anyone plays with it.

Costa Rica aren't as shit as many people are making out. They came 2nd in North American qualifying behind the US, England/Uruguay/Italy should beat them, but they're not a micky mouse team and I fancy them to get a few points in this group.
This poster clearly knows what he's talking about.

Probably - even if we lose tonight we'd only be a point off Uruguay so it would be in our hands. Though it's becoming increasingly obvious that we cannot write off Costa Rica.
Costa Rica are not going to be the whipping boys everyone seem to think they would be!

Uruguay are absolutely awful defensively in the air and dealing with pace. As long as we keep it simple we'll definitely have a chance.

The keeper could make it look like he is interested at least

No they are not, brilliant turnaround, Joel Campbell has been brilliant, surely the time has come for Suarez to come on and see if he can turn it round.

BBC: "Uruguay have never lost to Costa Rica in eight previous meetings (W6, D2). "

This should be a walkover. Should.
There's a reason why I put 'should' in italics.

What a great World Cup so far. Only 2 teams have failed to score in their games.

It's been a brilliant game - I've found myself cheering Costa Rica on since their first goal

Or Coates while they were at it, for some height in that defence.

I don't think Muslera likes diving. Unusual for a footballer.

If we're being honest though a lot of the goals in this WC have come from some really poor defending. I've never seen so many teams poorly defend at this world cup as we have in this one, a lot ordinary goalkeeping as well. If England can be one of the very few who can defend, they might go far.

I've been scared of that ever since I saw which group we're in.

Goodness, that wasn't far away.

Uruguay are there for the taking by these Costa Ricans.

Arsenal might just have found their striker for next season.
