I'd definitely fancy England over Uruguay given this performance.

Lol at the commentator. "England will not have to worry about Maxi Perreira"

Didn't expect that. Well done Costa Rica.

The ref had a good game.

Costa Rica have grabbed the form book, took a piss on it, set fire to it and walked off laughing.

Totally deserved victory.

So made up for Costa Rica. They're in with a genuine chance of progressing now and it's thoroughly deserved.

We're only halfway into this football marathon and I'm struggling. Time to stick the kettle on.

We (the Republic of Ireland) drew 1-1 with Costa Rica in the US last week and thought it was a disappointing result, but in retrospect it was a very good performance as they created plenty of chances in that match.

My wife just said "Now for the big one"
I thinks she means the England match.

Made up for Costa Rica - I hope they do well as everyone has written them off and I like to support the underdog

England now have a very good chance of progressing to last 16 now, before they have even hit a ball.

Similar qualifying record to Honduras. That England result doesn't look too bad now!

Well she won't be talking about your very small penis would she?

P.S I don't know personally, but I do have it on very good authority.

Wait until the Italy game is over before making predictions like that

Right, I'm off to follow the England v Italy commentary on Twitter. As instructed by Adrian Chiles.

I could watch it live on BBC1, but I may be betraying Chiles and ITV
