Neighbours: ThePerfectBlend site: Open for Business?
I think http://www.perfectblend.net/ is open again with updated features. I thought they stopped and was closing down?

They were never closing down, they stopped regular updates, which used to be daily, but they still updated now and again. They seem to be updating more frequently now, but not daily.

I wonder if this is a good sign and they are enjoying the show again. I thought it was sad when they pulled back on their updates and in a way it felt like the death knell for the show. If a fan site loses interest it's a sorry indication. I honestly wish people would try Neighbours again it's the only soap I watch nowadays. It's going through another golden era IMO.

Yeah I heard ages ago that they were shutting the site down. But yet I've noticed recent interviews and news updates. I'm pleased though. I love that site!

I think its a fantastic site, and the PB.net team should be proud of themselves

It needs a redesign, it's stuck in the 90s.

During Bower's era, the reason for the lack of updates and closure rumours was down to a combination of a lack of free time to spend on the site and a waning interest in the show. It should be noted that a lack of free time was the main reason. I know b/c that was what I was told when I wrote several episode summaries for them for about a month. I guess they have more time to spend on the site these days. That's awesome, b/c it's a bit of an encyclopaedia of all things Neighbours. |

It was redesigned last year, but yeah there's no flash or widescreen pages like other sites, but I guess it'd be hard to update all of their pages

They do update though - I like the opening titles gallery. They update their character bios every six months too. |

I could see how they'd lose interest in the show.

DS and PB should link their sources together.
