I thought it was bad enough that most seem to be bright yellow or orange but now some of the Italy players have 2 different coloured boots on the SAME person. Whatever happened to black boots ?
As they have strict rules about undershirts, gloves, snoods etc being the same colour as the team shirt it is perhaps surprising the same rule does not apply to boots.
I can just about take the migraine inducing ones, but what the hell is up with the red and green?? Have we reached the stage where miss matching shoes are now fashion? God I must be getting old
I can't stand them either. White boots are one thing but not these garish fluorescent jobbies that wouldn't be out of place in a nightclub or suchlike. I don't mind a bit of colour but they should be predominantly black or something a bit more easy on the eye. Obviously it's a great marketing ploy for the sales and the kids probably love them.
I said to the missus last night that black boots are now the novelty after she made a comment on how hideous some of the footwear on display was. The players with two different coloured boots was quite comical, I thought.

Athletes have started doing the same.
I asked about it and someone said it was a charity thing.
Must say it was quite funny yesterday when the ref was sparying the freekick line and he sprayed a players snakeskin themes boots. They player didn't look happy

I noticed that too. Even the commentators remarked on it
