The trouble is an actor normally has a character to inhabit and he hasn't. I think he is quite conflicted at present. He is trained to deceive (act) when/by being someone else. Its a whole different thing to be deceptive as himself.

...it's probably the stress of having to keep up a pretence 24/7 . If he was just going in the diary room to nominate on one day and not keep the secret ..he'd be fine.
