The idiotic commentators really aren't understanding the goal line technology too well.

Did Hawkeye (the company who do GLT for the Premier League) put a bid for the World Cup?

They must be laughing their tits off.

you can tell that c*nt played for both spurs and stoke
He's hardly played for us (Stoke) tbf, he's well down the pecking order and will probably be offloaded this summer (if anyone will have him after what weve seen tonight!).

When he has played for us he runs round like a headless chicken (when hes not rolling around on the floor) kicking anything that moves and collecting bookings. Exactly like hes played tonight in fact.

Pat Nevin on 5 live - "I don't think it has gone over the line. I am disagreeing with the technology. That is not a goal."

Is he drunk?

What happened with the second goal that I missed then? Sounds like it bounced off post and goalkeeper touched in it. Is that it?

Commentator is doing my head in with his stupidity.

All the system was doing was saying the hit off the post wasn't in, but then the rebound off the keeper was.

That's why it said no goal, then goal, which also coincided with what it was showing on screen at the time it said no goal/ goal.

No, otherwise the offender who stamped and laughably play-acted (a yellow by itself, surely?) would have got away with it.

Well, as I said, you're being strangely selective. I wonder why?

Anyway, I'll move on.
As you suggested before, the referee could send both the stamper and the kicker off. That way, the stamper wouldn't have gotten away with anything and neither would the kicker. Ultimately, it's up to the referee to dish out justice, not Pogba and his flailing legs.

Jonathan Pearce is an absolute moron. "Which replay are we supposed to believe?"

It's 1 replay, with different moments emphasised, you ****.

That was stupid showing the part where it hit the post, it might as well have paused when Benzema made contact and said NO GOAL too.

The problem with using technology it seems is that you still have to rely on humans to decipher it.

My dad doesn't think it was a goal because of the first replay but I think It was even without GLT.

Not sure what all the fuss is about, maybe they need to change the message from "No Goal" to "Didn't cross" or something.

To the uninitiated, "No Goal" might seem like the final verdict, which it clearly wasn't.

But really...

Honduras are a horrible team to watch. The sooner they depart the better.

Jonathan Pearce is so busy getting excited that he is unable to think, sometimes.
That was actually a great test of Goal Line Technology, that it passed.

He's bloody stupid.

Acting as though its some huge confusion?? the ball didnt go over the line when it hit teh far corner, hence it saying "no goal" then crossed teh line when it went across teh line and hit the GK, hence the "goal".
Yep, I'm glad people here understand it

The whole ball has to go over and one of the replay's showed that wasn't the case.
