If they have to include all passages of the play as part of the process that's fine, but having the NO GOAL flash up was akin to airing contentious replays on a big screen, Honduran fans aren't likely to look for the logic when they see something that first tells them they've been screwed over as the initial reaction showed (even when it was obviously not the case). On another day in a more important match that kind of thing could be asking for trouble.

Technology or not, Benzema's shot coming back off the post looked clear as day I thought.

I don't think there was any need to show the original shot didn't go in when it clearly bounced outward. It just confused matters.

Honduras were vile thugs, no interest in anything other than targeting France's key players. Result is France has a worrying no of yellow cards, in a game where they mostly showed total discipline and team spirit. They managed to play some lovely football despite being kicked, so good luck to them.

FIFA must just show the decisive footage on the big screen imo. The second goal wasn't at all controversial, it was clearly over the line from the keeper.

The fact is FIFA did NOT need to show the 1st part of the decision. Only the part that justified the decision needed to be shown.

Separate from GLT the replays of incidents in this tournament in general have been of a poor quality.
