Nine times out of ten it would have been wrong and undeserved. Thankfully we're given brains for a reason.

Are we all glad he wasn't though ? There isn't a need in the World Cup for a team of Vinnie Jones clones.

France have been knocked out of the nice attacking rhythm that they were building up.

Surely this isn't going to be the first 0-0 draw of the tournament.

Where was Pogba's brain when he lashed out? Palacios' behaviour may have been unsporting in the eyes of some but I don't see how Pogba kicking back is any better.

I like the fact that Honduras are getting stuck in. They can't outplay the French, so they're playing to their own strengths (literally).

According to FIFA Directive 38, Paragraph 4, "Goal-less draws have been banned." Well, they have been so far.

The England 0-0 warm up looks like a good result now, as they got away with no broken legs,

You could say they are 'stamping their authority' onto the game. Literally.

Jeeesh! We need to swap the stretcher for some goals. This is getting frustrating!

Selfish from Benzema.

France starting to turn it up again. They should really be looking to grab a lead before half time to break Honduras confidence.

Benzema should have pulled that ball back.

Thank you!

It's not like the BBC haven't run countless reports and documentaries on the social issues and economic problems surrounding this WC for the locals

There's the red card for Palacios!

He had that coming for what he did to Pogba in the first instance.
