Nothing like a little cheery piece to get us all ready for the World Cup game. Mass graves in Bosnia and howitzers firing shells.

It had a positive ending though because it showed what qualifying for the World Cup means to the Bosnian people.

Plenty of Argentine beauties in the crowd.

I wonder how many have made the trip from Bosnia (and Herzegovina)

I would rather see reality than cheery fluff. It tells us a lot about the psychology of the players and the nation.

I like Ferdinand as a pundit it's an unusual style he has but seems to work

The Bosnian captain was just interviewed on Radio 5. When you have lost many family and friends in a civil war in does put football into perspective.

Ossie Ardiles is on the RTE panel and says he reckons Messi is a better player than Maradona

Yeah, I think he's been good. He's played very recently at the top level too.

I hate this cliché that Messi needs this World Cup to 'prove himself.' He has nothing to prove to anyone. Look at his goal scoring record and what he's won. He's already in the pantheon of greats.

Bosnia are probably Argentina's hardest opposition in their group through I don't think anyone knows that much about Iran's team.

+1, I don't think this game will be the walkover which some people are suggesting.

I would like to see Argentina win and Messi to be great but I would also like a good showing from Bosnia. I think they'll get through the group too.

Should be a great atmosphere and a fun match.

Don't think it'll be a walkover, I still think Argentina will win by at least two goals though.

This is like England hosting the World Cup and Wembley being packed full of Scots.

Either everything Messi does will be hyped to the heavens or the expectation will be so big that nothing he does is good enough. Imagine the pressure on him right now.
