Kit-Kat on Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition?
The Kit-Kat update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition (SM-P600) seems to have been released in several countries, but not yet in the UK. Are we likely to get this update any time soon? I don't want to install a micro SD card until the new revision is released, as I understand some users have had problems with apps installed on the micro SD card.

I've got this tablet. Helpfully Kit-Kat will land on it soon. If it's been released in other countries I can't see why it would be long before we get it?

You can manually update to kitkat using link below. Did it last night and works fine (update at your own risk of course).
With kitkat you can now mirror cast 10.1 to TV. Works very well. http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/galaxy-note...rmware-1449322 |

I don't think Samsung will update this model in the UK; they've moved on with the release of the S series.
As for manually updating to KitKat, my tablet is only 5 months into its 2 year John Lewis warranty, so I won't be doing that anytime soon. |

I'm sure it will get updated eventually. Even the galaxy tabs get at least one update.

Is it posible to successfully install KitKat on a Galaxy S2
How would I achieve this and any advantages in doing so?
I read a couple of online DIYs, they didn't make a lot of sense to me. |

Actually I think updating as per method shown above is more reliable that OTA updating, but if things go wrong with an OTA, at least you could justifiably claim to John Lewis it was not your fault. |

Kitkat is actually here at last! Took them long enough. Have my tablet set to auto update, but still had to do a manual check for it.

Mine popped up as an auto update last night. So far so good. I'm pleased I can add new apps to the split screen option now inc firefox and flashfox - unfortunate both of those keep crashing now!

Think the server must be busy. Only downloaded 10% in 5 minutes on an 80Mb connection.
