Well at least you didn't call her "an unf*ckable lard-arse" like Silvio Berlusconi did.........

That is because it is true.

One of the best free kicks we've seen at this World Cup there from Ronaldo.

Just not their day. In truth the game was done and dusted at 3-0 or even 2-0.

Very efficient, Portugal weren't all that before the red card.

He denies that now (though he's had to deny a lot of things in his career )

Apparently they were best of mates.

Well, that was a nice stroll in the park for the Germans.

Germany used to have some decent boxers, is the reason they don't have them anymore because they'd be down for the count after the first jab they received.

typical footballer, gets touched on the face and goes down in agony, gets headbutted and is on his feet in no time.

Yes. I don't know how much we can read into the game though. I'm not saying Germany wouldn't have won, but they did get more than their fair share of luck. A soft penalty decision when Portugal had actually been causing them a few problems. Great second goal, but then Portugal went down to 10 men. After that it was virtually all over as a competitive game.
I suppose we'll learn more later, but that was just too easy.

Yep. 3 lucky goals and a penalty.

What was soft about that? Nailed on pen. If anything Portugal were lucky the ref didn't apply the letter of the law and send the defender off.

You seem to think every goal is "lucky." I believe you said the same stuff after the French game. The penalty was a cert, the header from the corner involved no luck whatsoever and the final one was a good move with some lax goalkeeping. A bit of luck for the third but still a clinical finish.

Do you actually watch any football between World Cups ? I don't believe anyone who watches football on a regular basis would call that a "nailed on" penalty. The foul on Eder in the second half was practically the same, could have been called either way.
