It will be interesting to see how well Iran play under the coaching of Sir Alex Ferguson's former no.2 at Manchester United, Carlos Queiroz.
Enjoy the match!

I can't believe no-one has posted yet on this thread; I've been looking forward to this all day. Should be a humdinger. A crackin' corkin' classic.

Its impossible to have a 0-0 or even a draw at this WC, so it should be a cracker.

If Iran go a couple of goals down I think they'll lose their heads.

Maybe a little too subtle for many on here.

Iran will be better than people think.

Quiroz will have them organised

Yeah, Quiroz's tactics could be the difference here.

It was too subtle for me I was going to question how they knew so much about the Iranian teams mental strength.

All this talk about Iran's organisation. I bet they'll concede within 5 minutes.

It always makes me laugh when the BBC pundits discuss the key players and line-ups of the smaller teams because you think they've just read the info off a piece of paper a few minutes beforehand

I remember that last win for Nigeria in the World Cup - it was 3-2 against Spain when they had the likes of Taribo West and Jay Jay Okocha in their line-up.

Please don't head in the direction of comments like that, particularly in a tournament that plays heavy emphasis on saying no to racism.

It's good ITV don't have this game otherwise we'll get all kinds of crude jokes from Chiles

Only one match out of the 12 has had a goalless first half.

Who do you think you are accusing people of racism at the drop of a hat? Mind reader are you?

One thing I particularly like about this World Cup is that you think a game kicking off now will be the last game of the night (as 7:45/8pm kick-offs are during the rest of the season) but you still have another one to look forward to less than an hour later!
