The last game of the night is between these two teams who are likely to finish 3rd and 4th in their group.

I don't mind who wins this one, think USA will win 2-1.

Looking at how poor Portugal were, I wouldn't say that this is going to be the wooden spoon match.

USA players may be fresher as the home based players only started their season in march

Is that muppet playing? The one who missed his penalty and the chance to put Ghana in the semis of the last World Cup. Who also then proceeded to make a "oh well" expression while the world wanted to throttle him.

Come on Ghana, send the Yanks packing, they don't belong in the World Cup.

They're in the world, they have as much right to be there as anyone else.

I hope this is better than that last terrible match, though that wouldn't take much. Lawrenson has the US down as his dark horse and there's an opening for them now after Portugal' s disaster. I would like to see Ghana go well though.

I hope the Ghana goalkeeper has better hands than Robert Green

These two better deliver, I'm suffering from goal withdrawal. By the time this starts it will have been over 4 hours since I've seen one!

As long as USA don't lose I will win 53quid so come on USA .

They have as much of a right to be in the World Cup as Ghana do

I know you wrote that before the Portugese display against Germany but I wouldn't be so sure about that now.

Jurgen Klinsmann, the German USA coach isn't even cheering on his boys

"We cannot win this World Cup, because we are not at that level yet. For us, we have to play the game of our lives seven times to win the tournament."
At least he's honest I guess

Altidore on his own up front doesn't look promising for the US.

Bradley was decent the few times I saw him play for Roma.

I'll be rooting for the US.

I hope they get out of the group too, but obviously, it's going to be very difficult for them.

The US anthem is great.
...especially when it's sung as loudly as it was by the US fans just then.
