Yep.

At least it's been a hell of a tournament. I've really enjoyed this match too. Thankfully that Nigeria vs Iran match was an outlier.

That's where Johnson needs to stay, lest Ghana catch them out at the death.

Still it gives you a laugh so what do you have to complain about?

Everyone is happy.

One goalless draw in about 13-14 games is amazing, agreed brilliant World Cup so far.

They'll be hard to break down considering the terrible service Ronaldo had today. It would take for him to do something special of his own accord, though I wouldn't put it past him. Portugal will be missing Pepe and Coentrao as well, so the US will have openings. They're a well organised side.

Refreshing lack of play acting in this game too. Some big tackles (ooh err ) but no messing about.

Gutted for Ghana but credit to USA, forced the corner and where the heck was the marking from it?

USA vs Portugal should be interesting.

Poor geographical knowledge from the commentator in his attempt to cram as many US references into every sentence.

Ghana have got one more play to take here.

Do the Ghanians have any plans to pass the ball to each other.

That was an entertaining match. Good performance from the US and Ghana paid for their lack of cutting edge.

Encouraging to see such a large travelling support for the USA as well. Good atmosphere.

Deserved for USA, thought Ghana would've been better and expected more from them.

Exciting last 10 minutes.

Great game, Ghana just weren't clinical enough with the chances they created.

Poor Dempsey will be feeling sore tomorrow.

USA V Portugal will be huge now a point for USA could be enough to get them through

On the face of it, you'd say a draw would've been a fair result because Ghana dominated the USA for most of the match, never mind the second half - but I can't help but think they got what was coming to them for being so wasteful with the chances they created and the final ball when they got into good positions.

Klinsmann must be delighted because the USA executed their game plan perfectly, and in fact I'd go so far as to say their defensive performance was the best we've seen in the World Cup so far with players like Cameron, Brooks, Beasley, Beckerman and Jones - my man of the match - constantly pressing and covering in extraordinarily oppressive conditions.

Saying that, I thought when Ghana equalised there was only one winner but credit to the Americans for forcing the corner and forcing the winner - although you have to say the biggest factor in it was the atrocious Ghanaian marking which allowed John Brooks the free header.

Yet another disappointing African result and performance in this World Cup but well done USA.

(I don't think they'll beat Portugal though because I can't imagine the Portuguese will squander as many chances against them as Ghana did tonight.)
