Spanish ref tonight. Phil Neville is convinced the ref will be biased or influenced.

My granny likes Adrian, she calls him Adrian Smiles

I think a 2-2 draw for England /Uruguay and a 1-1 for Costa Rica/Italy. Then England beat Costa Rica and Uruguay beat Italy in the final round of games and all 4 teams will be on 4 points!

England are fairly short, evens at the longest.

Lugano's out which might be a bad thing for England, he turns like an oil tanker.

I have no vested interest either way here so I'm just hoping for an exciting game and for the commentators not to be too annoying and openly cheering England. I'm worried that Suarez won't be fit enough to have a good game.

That Gabriel Clark is a miserable so-and-so. I haven't seen him express any ounce of happiness since the start of this tournament.

I honestly wish ITV would fix that window.

Too many strikers spoil the broth, Roy.

That would be really interesting. You would have tommake England favourites in that situation as they're more likely to boost their goal difference against Costa Rica than Uruguay would be against Italy.

Pretty much no chance of this.

No changes for England. 3 changes for Uruguay: Coates in for Lugano (injured), Fucile in for Pereira (suspended) and Suarez in for Forlan.”

No Forlan? Interesting.

Suarez replaces Forlan, there's a case for him playing behind the strikers, but Uruguay don't play that style.

What use is Welbeck going to be on the left wing?

Ah, ok thanks.

Yeah, he's a pretty accurate long shooter/ crosser, I think he'd work well behind the strikers, but meh.

He has played there successfully in his club career, most noticeably at Sunderland, so he is more than capable of performing well in that position.

Townsend does my head in at the best of times too. Still, it'll be hard to top Lawro hoping for Italian players to be injured at the last Euros.

And he's played most of his international games from there and done well too.
