Can't get my LG Blu-ray player to play any Blu-Rays or DVDs. 'Please Wait' keeps showing on the display panel. F#cking driving me mad. The useless user manual just says power it down. disconnect from the mains then plug in agai. It doesn't make any difference.

Any ideas?

It seems that the main board is defective. If under warranty get them to replace the main board? You want be able to fix it yourself.
