Due to a lack of form, I assume. He's struggled with injury this season too, hasn't he?
He started the second last game for united last season.

Hazard's not started particularly well.

Now this is the kind of thing you're supposed to see in the early stages of a World Cup - a slow tempo, cagey affair with neither team willing to over-commit forward.

The Algerians look very composed on the ball, though.

It's odd that a guy who wins the league on loan and gets to the final of the Champions League (Courtois) still isn't assured of a chance back at his parent club. I'd start him over Cech personally. I think he's ready to take over.

Think this will be a tight game . Belgium to win 1-0 perhaps from a set piece.

Algeria already look a far better side than Nigeria do.

Nice penalty.

Let's see what you're really made of now, Belgium.

Good penalty, calmly placed.

Now we'll see what Belgium are made of.

Why is Tyldesley talking about Courtois making a name for himself? He's well known as a top keeper.

Well converted pen though

There's ALWAYS seems to be a goal inbetween the 20-25th minutes at this WC, as soon as the 20th minute happens, expect a goal from now on, no matter how shite the game is.

This is the sort of game where Benteke would be preferable to Lukaku.

Haven't been too impressed by Belgium so far; Hazard's been a bit anonymous. And Vertonghen.....he'd been drifting through games for Spurs last season, and now he's doing the same thing in the WC.
