Weight of expectation getting to Belgium maybe?

Witsel can certainly hit them from long range.

This is underwhelming from Belgium. A lot of pre tournament hype for no reason. Yes they have some decent players but havent done anything on the world stage with any of these players

Kevin De Bruyne with that pale and ginger look looks like he should be playing for Scotland.

Belgium may not be a suited to the conditions as Algeria. They're also dealing with a well organised side who are pressing them tight and hard. This isn't an easy game and was going to be. They still have time though and eventually gaps will appear. So foolish to write them off after a poor half. |

Algeria are playing very defensively. I almost thought they were playing for a draw initially, they were kind of lucky to get that break into the box really. Belgium with all the chances now.

Axel is a cool name . The only ones I know of are Axel Rose and the character from Streets of Rage

Algeria have set themselves up very well. They are going to be tough to break down. Belgium need to step up a few gears here.

Belgium look completely lacking in ideas. Unless they can figure something different out at half time then this is finishing 1-0. Shots from 30 yards as your best option is embarrassing.

What is it with people writing off teams after less than one half in this tournament? It's very stupid.

This game will either end 1-0 Algeria or 2-1/3-1 Belgium. As soon as Belgium get the first, IF they get the equalizer, the floodgates will open.

Algeria have done nothing yet it is good enough to see them take a half-time lead - Belgium are playing like a team who have started to believe their own hype and simply expected Algeria to roll over ...
Not sure what to expect in this second half as Belgium look like they can't be arsed. |

of all the fancied teams that has been easily the worst first half performance. They have 45 minutes to save their world cup

Is Willian-lookalike Witsel picked to make Hazard feel more at home?

Save their World Cup? The later match could well be a draw and then Belgium could beat them both. This is probably the most evenly balanced group. Argentina weren't a whole lot better in their first half performance and they're a far more fancied team than Belgium. In fact, Belgium aren't so much fancied as a potential surprise package.

Lol surprise package. I've lost count of the amount of times ive heard them bring referred to as dark horse. Russia certainly won't fear them
