Pretty incredible. Germans and US aboard, so the US v Germany game should be fun

Google says the ISS is the size of a football pitch Really puts in perspective how big It is.

Fairly turgid, especially compared to most games so far.

First 11pm game of the tournament where I've been fighting back the yawns. Not a good sign.

tempted to re-watch the Nigeria game for some explosive entertainment compared to that.

This Russian side topped a group which included Portugal, must do a lot better.

Don't do it, you might slip into a coma. I've been trying to watch this game I really have, but I'm glad of the half time break.

Akinfeev looks very unsure in that Russian goal.

Liking Son Hyung-Min's close control.

Akenfeev is looking a bit dodgy. I used to rate him highly but that might be on the back of the fact that he used to be amazing in Football Manager 2008 or something.

I've come to the conclusion that Cappello is a useless sack of crap who couldn't manage a 5-a-side team featuring 8 year olds.

Yes, him and Ochoa were always go to GK transfer options. (I say were, because I had to cold turkey FM out of my system).

Well Russia tried for 90 seconds, appear to have given up again now.
