Not the greatest game so far by any means, but it did provide my biggest talking point. Or maybe I've just missed the bits where people are talking about it.
Russia's equalizer was offside, was it not?
The accidental ball into the box looked marginally offside, but I'm not so sure about that.
But the ball to Kerzhakov bounced off his team-mate while he was in an off-side position, surely?
I might be wrong, but that's how it looked to me live at the time, and I've checked again on replays.
The thing that really confuses me is that I seem to be the only one that has spotted this! That's not entirely true of course - The Guardian and The Telegraph at least have also spotted this (and probably many of you reading this too). But why no comment from the TV pundits that this was at least a marginal decision worthy of a talking point?
