Just don't understand it to be honest.

Apart from the disagreement with Danielle, he has done nothing really wrong. He sticks to Pauline a bit too much. He treats women with respect and has a good sense of humour but because he hangs around with Pauline and is part of that group, he is automatically not liked. The way he speaks makes him sound a bit rude and smug but that is the way he talks!

Nobody does not like him in the house. Even Chris said he is a "really nice guy". I think he could become a brilliant housemate once Pauline goes. Just needs to be given a chance.

He respects the wrong sort of woman.
Just the ones that feed him, apparently.

His shock and outrage at being nominated. His sycophancy towards Pauline. And his sobbing.

When he walked in to the house and it was revealed he worships Simon Cowell and Katie Price, that was it for me. Although, to be fair to him, that's my problem not his.
His rant after being nominated was truly pathetic though. 'Little shit' etc. I found out all I needed to about him then. There are housemates who genuinely don't care when they're nominated, there are housemates who pretend not to, and brood over it, and there are housemates who get completely ugly when they are. Stephen - and Danielle - belong to the third group.

Apart from his massively over-inflated sense of self importance, his total inability to judge character, his nauseating fawning over P******, and the fact he talks shite... Yeah, he's great

The BS oozes out of him. He's the guy who brags about putting his parents out of business, yet he still lives at home with his parents.

Great post Paul W. moreover, I cannot abide his conspiratorial voice..when he's tearing the back of his perceived enemy. He's a class A tool.

I've never seen such a pompous self-righteous pratt on BB.

After he was nominated (before the ridiculous blubbing at being nominated and the group hug to console him):

"I. Am. AstOUNDED!!!
That my face is up there on that board!!!"

He really didn't see that coming, eh? What a shocker!

He's a pathetic, doughy, whiny, little manbitch. Watching him bawl his little b*tch tears the other night has been my series highlight.

He talks the talk but he's all mouth. He is weak. He can't take criticism. He seems incapable of critical thinking, he is easily absorbed into group think. He over analysis everything and yet is always wrong. He is the least likely person you want running a company.

Saying that, he is comedy gold and needs to stay until he has a full on nervous breakdown and starts rolling around the floor crying for his mummy.

When he was outside with Christopher i believe he said "Three big characters are up" referring to Christopher, Pauline and himself. To give yourself a title like a "big character" when he isn't is definitely a testament to his over inflated ego. Not to mention he's a delicate flower with his crying over being nominated. I hope Paulines the one to go next followed by him. I also get a creepy, slimey feeling when he talks to Kimberly too, like he has plans to lock her up in his basement type of feeling.

The "sob story" act with Pauline was completely uncomfortable to watch, he's acting like Pauline is a god and sucking the crap out of her arse so much that he now has crap on his tongue with the rest of them. His sheer outrage at being nominated was laughable, it was like "how dare anyone nominate me, do you know who I am??" Yes Steven, we know who you are. You're a man that has been pussy whipped by a narcissistic creature and just another bitch in the BB house.

I think he's just very gullible, a poor judge of character, and while his demeanor is that of someone older and quite experienced in life (he's been to 119 countries donchaknow!) his choices don't suggest that at all - he's just cocky.

Educated but not emotionally intelligent imo.

That TV interview someone posted on here where he talked about the married lady he fell in love with and who completely messed him about was very telling I thought. The penny didn't even drop when the husband was away and he'd stay at the house but she and the children called him 'baby' and never by his name (so the husband didn't pick up when he returned).

While his Pauline adoration was the drunken televisual equivalent of when I got completely blasted and almost emailed a girl who really loves me to ask her to marry me (massive oops there - lovely girl but not my sort!) I'm not really getting the extreme reaction that's on here (yet? ).

Think he could be a nice guy when he gets older and wiser - we all grow up at our own pace

Wasn't there another moment yesterday when he said something like "Look, they have nominated three big players in here - Pauline, Ash, and Me"

The bloke is so far up Paulines arse you can just about see the soles of his shoes.

Anyone curious how cults start need to watch the Steven/Pauline dynamic and take notes. That relationship is super sick.

If he feels like that to someone who just cooked him his tea after 2 weeks, imagine what kind of crazy stalker crap he'd pull if someone dumped him.

You just know he's the kinda fool that would stand outside a girl's window waving an iPod above his head blasting some rock ballad with tears of self pity steaming over his doughy cheeks in a pathetic attempt to win her back.

LMAO! Couldn't have summed it up better.

I don't particularly like him but one of the problems atm is that HMs are being evaluated partly by whether or not they show allegiance to Pauline.

This is a compelling reason in itself for getting rid of Pauline this week and, assuming she does go, it will be interesting to see the character arc for her former acolytes.

His soft pasty face with that smarmy voice, this is not a man but but a half baked biscuits that goes with a weak tea. His baby cry finished me off and his strong friendship with Pauline and so far up her arse, If Pauline goes his and Helen will combine to turn into tyrants

We need controversial characters like him to keep BB interesting, whereas people like Pauline and Helen are just plain nasty, which gets a bit mentally draining after a bit. It's great to have some deluded fool with absolutely no self-awareness to laugh at.

Very much agreed on all points apart from just don't see how he's controversial

I don't hate him, not a fan either though.

I wouldn't mind if he stuck around another few weeks. I find him pretty funny actually, although it is definitely more a case of laughing at him than with him.
