A couple of months ago, I accepted Sky's offer of a free Now TV box and a discounted Entertainment Pass subscription - £4.99 off the normal price.

Sounded OK to me, as I can no longer afford to subscribe to Sky and Sky Sports like I used to.

On checking my Sky bill, however, I see that Sky are charging me £9.99 a month for the Pass, then taking £4.99 off that - making £5 a month. What I didn't spot straight away is that the Passes are only £4.99 a month direct from Now TV! This 'special offer' saves me exactly bugger all! Not impressed...spoke to Sky CS, they said 'that was the pricing structure I had agreed to when I signed up' - charming!

OK, I got a free box, but they're only a tenner anyway.

The Sky Broadband / NowTV pricing was based on the imminent price rise allowing you to save a couple of quid. Then the price rise was cancelled.
