The rumour mill has been busy for some time with hints about changes to 3's last unlimited tethering deals.
3 stopped their unlimited tethering offering on the One Plan for new handset deal customers a couple of months ago. You can still get 'all you can eat' data but subject to TrafficSense management during peak hours and a 2GB Monthly tethering limit.
3's SIM Only 1 month and 12 month rolling contracts continued to offer 'all you can eat' data with unlimited tethering but look set to be replaced with new terms restricting tethering to 4GB per month.
This move will affect many who have chosen 3 to provide access to broadband whilst they are temporary residents and/or those who simply decided to rely on a a mobile network for their primary Internet access.
This deserves to be discussed in a thread of it's own as it is an important change that will impact many existing 3 customers and those considering using the network based on prior offers.
The days of the 100GB per month consumers look to be numbered on 3. Good for the majority of average users?
