I Like Ann Mitchell, but like someone on here said she is being underused at the minute. Bringing the dreadful Rainie back is not for me and just puts Cora running around in circles, we've had all this before! . There she is blackmailing Ian and on the game again to feed that drug addict, and no doubt in a few weeks we are going to see the delightful sight of her slumped on a pile of bin bags with a vodka bottle in her grasp. I am hoping Raines return is fleeting...and if not, the axe will fall again at some point.

Rainie blames Cora for the way she is...I really would like to see this fragile relationship explored once and for all.

Tanya Franks is back until at least Feb so I am sure we have long way to go with Cora and Rainie.

Rainie moves in with her Mother next week, I would really like to see Rainie get her life in order now.

I hope the Rainie/Cora scenes and writing will be as brilliantly and carefully handled as the Jean/Stacey scenes a week ago. Both pairs have similar circumstances to each other - the mother's mental health directly affecting and being passed on to her daughter (although obviously one is genetic while the other isn't).

I'd be let down if their family history isn't explored or brought up more. Wasn't it Tanya who got Rainie into drugs in the first place? Wasn't it Cora's alcoholism and her father's ill health that triggered her addiction? Will Rainie find out that her niece is also a recovering alcoholic? Cora's clearly a tough nut to crack and I can't remember a scene where she's showed much emotion (even with Ava!) so I hope the conversations with Rainie will be enough to make Cora crack.

When Cora told Patrick about Ava we saw some emotion but Cora is indeed a tough nut to crack but I hope we can see a softer side to her character once Rainie moves in with her.

Is Tanya staying in EE now? I do hope so, she is a great actress.

They are fictional. I wouldn't wish anything on either actress, but as for the characters... The words heads, walls, and spikes comes to mind.

Tanya Franks will never commit to EE permanenty as she likes working on other projects. I was hoping that Rainie and Cora's relationship would be explored but by stealing from her Mother Rainie and Cora are now apart once again.
