Do you fancy being the UK’s first Taster in Residence?

Chateau Impney Hotel in Droitwich Spa, Worcestershire is looking for an honorary Taster in Residence. They’re claiming they’re the first people in the UK to do so - not a bad thing to add to your CV, I suppose!

According to the website, the Taster in Residence will have the opportunity to test all of Chateau Impney’s new dishes before they are added to their menus, as well as recommend their favourites to the hotel’s guests. There’s a short form to fill out where you have to say why you’d be the best for the position, and the closing date for entries is Thursday 3 July. Eight finalists will then be shortlisted to take part in some ‘taste battles’ before they pick the winner.

I live quite close to the Chateau, and I applied earlier this week – fingers crossed! It’s an honorary position, but if you’re a bit of a foodie like me, it’s an ideal opportunity.

If you’re interested, you can apply at www.tasterinresidence.com, but be warned – if I make it through to the taste battles, my taste buds would triumph over yours!

Why are you pretending you're not a marketing person? And I know you'll never log on again anyway so there's no point typing this really.
