Lurch Spirali - anyone have one?

I think they're amazing as a gadget! My son bought me one upon request Christmas time. I'm so impressed I'm buying one to take to our apt in Turkey as their veg is so cheap!

Diet wise - as long as you buy fairly 'straight' courgettes, carrots etc you can cook half the pasta you want - then Blanche the courgettes ( my fav) and mix.

Plus, they're good for party/BBQs etc - effective!
Their uses are on YouTube but I'm buying my second one soon - Amazon is about £30 but check P&P etc for other sellers.

I have one. I got it for my birthday and use it all the time as I eat lowcarb and use it for veg noodles.

For anyone who doesn't know what they are here are the details.

Looks like something that's used once and then consigned to the back of the cupboard to gather dust.

I use mine all the time and have done for over a year. But I expect if you bought one just for making pretty salads, then it would just get used less and less.

It was for me - used it once and did loads of peppers that were cheap at 7pm at Tesco and courgettes for pasta then it went in the cupboard until Vegan son found it. Now it is sat in his cupboard and he is trying to give it back as he is having a clear out.

I used to have something similar.
I bought a gadget pack with a mandolin, a fruit corer, some sort of spirat tool and a implement to make veggie shapes.

Probably used it a couple of times and then it was shoved in the cupboard.

I've been considering purchasing one and I'm also worried I'll just use it once. I'm interested to know apart from making corgette spagetti, what else would it be used for

Loads of ideal if you google it but the courgettes seems to be the star of the show.

I have a spiraliser. Not a Lurch Spirali, though. We eat raw vegan a few days a week, so the spiraliser is invaluable to us. Our favourite is Courgette pasta with a tomato, beetroot and cinnamon dressing.
