I'm probably just being paranoid ..

Got an email alert this afternoon and the tone came through very crackly. Loaded the music player and played a song which also came through very crackly - the volume wasn't up particularly high either.

Powered the phone off and gave the speakers a bit of a blow through just to be sure and powered the phone back on and played another song and it came through absolutely fine.

The thing that's kind of making me a bit paranoid is that from that point to this, the phone has shown a single dot on the reception bar. It's probably fluctuated once or twice all afternoon but just to two dots, then back to one again and I know my signal here isn't that awful - the virgin website says that my postcode should have a good 4 bar 3G signal here and it rates it as "very good".

The battery is also sitting at 20% left after only 10 hours. I've had an hour or so of music today and a couple of fairly long calls to be fair though.

Does it sound like there could be an issue ?. It's more than likely i'm just being overly sensitive to it as i couldn't remotely begin to afford any repair costs on it if it needed to be repaired, but the crackling over the speakers this afternoon has thrown me a bit.

It's a regular unlocked iPhone 5 if that helps.

Thanks nice DS people
