Looks a very useful app.

I'm sure it'll be out on iOS shortly, maybe it's more complex? It looks amazing though, I wonder how incoming calls will work when the app isn't open.
Probably the same way Viber works. Baz |

I'm on the trial. Waiting to be added to the "granted access" list. Will be sent a private link shortly to download app. Three agreed to do this for both of my contracts

I just searched the Play Store and the only 3 app is the 3 Mobile account app.
Perhaps it will be added later today with a link on the 3 website. |

Tell the 3 guy who told me I could download it from the Play store then
![]() On how to get it, website says: If you have poor coverage (I do) You’ll need to call us to discuss your coverage experience if you want to be able to try it out. If you’re eligible to get our beta version of Three inTouch, we’ll send you a text with a link to download it. You need to be registered for Three inTouch on our systems for the app to work, so the download we send you to get won’t work for other people. So I called to see if I could get the sms link, was told I could download the app already from the Play store. I was surprised, but not too unexpected to find out it is not the case. |

Virgin Media have a similar app (SmartCall I think) that lets you connect to wifi (doesn't matter where) and use the app to make calls out of whatever landline package you have with them. So if you have a package that includes all calls (inc mobiles), it could be a useful thing. If like me, you have a v basic phone line with free weekend calls, then it wouldn't be that much use!

The website says you also can't use it outside of the UK so no saving on roaming using this I guess.

I can't see how 3 would care whose wifi you're on. Quote:

Make calls and send texts whenever you’re on Wi-Fi. Three inTouch is an app you can use to make calls and send texts when you're connected over Wi-Fi. You can use it over any internet connection including your home Wi-Fi, public Wi-Fi hotspots and mobile wireless devices. Three inTouch BETA is only available to people with Android version 4.0 on their phones. |

Roaming & international calls.
You can’t use Three inTouch in the UK to call international or premium rate numbers. You also can’t use Three inTouch anywhere other than the UK. If you do need to call international or premium rate numbers, you’ll need to turn off Wi-Fi and make that call over our network, like normal. |

The system doesn't appear to let you register if you have a Signal box on the account.
