This may be the wrong place for my question because I've just left BT Infinity and gone over to EE broadband, but I still have my exisiting BT email address: xxxxxxxx@btinternet.com, can anyone tell me if I need to pay BT to maintain this address or is it easier to change it to something different. Trying to get in touch with BT to speak to a live person (at least, in this country) seems virtually impossible. I did speak to someone in India, but I could not make much sense of what he was telling me, so I had to abort the call. I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to this moderrn technology, so any help would be much appreciated. D .

I left bt years ago, still able to use my btinternet.com account for free.
Although that could change at any time.

As to how easy it is to change, dependes on how many people you need to notify about youre new email address.

This is why people shouldnt use the one broadband suppliers let you have!
