Another positive is that we can now follow the rest of this World Cup without the media driven England frenzy hanging over it like a black cloud.

The idea that Steven Gerrard is an inspirational captain has surely been put to rest. Captains get in the referee's face and dispute decisions. Gerrard never does that for England.
Also, they play well.

Its been a great World Cup so far (excluding tonight and even then, Suarez's goals from a pure footballing view were very well taken).
